Small block 400? May want to edit that for confusion, as “small block” and “big block” are Chevy engine nomenclature. All the Pontiac engines from 326ci - 455ci have the same external block dimensions.
My parents had a ‘72 Catalina. I’ve always liked these early ‘70s Pontiacs.

I knew that too, not sure why I wrote it. Thanks for letting me know, though. It’s gone now, haha.

“Clock in the dash is stuck at 5:00. It’s 5:00 somewhere, and that somewhere is in my car.”
That’s my favorite line in the ad.

I try to have fun with my ads and people seem to like that.

Looks exactly like the GP my dad had when I was a kid. Same year. Same color. I loved that car.

That was a good one too!
Wow. I thought the Drive was supposed to be a bit “classier”. Those comments are brutal, way worse than the FP around here.

It’s been so long since I read them I don’t even remember. All I remember is them tearing the guy apart about the “Autocross” comment, which I also found hilarious.

They generally ripped him apart just for calling it a bad car ... which is particularly funny because your own ad called it a bad car.

I think they more ripped him apart for comparing it to book values which isn’t even close to realistic for these.
This is basically the same as my car:
